I never saw this first new thing post coming. Last night I tossed and turned with a pain in my chest and upper abdomen. It wasn't extremely painful, but it was uncomfortable enough to keep me up pretty much until 6 in the morning. I couldn't find any comfortable position and medicine, soda, or throwing up didn't work. So around 5 a.m. I went into the hospital and stayed for just about 11 hours. I felt better around 7 a.m. and we are not sure what it was, but they did have me have my first cat scan which led to my first medical allergy to Cat Scan Dye.
So yeah, I'm fine now, and the hospital visit wasn't too bad just very long. I was lucky it was not excruciating pain and eventually got bits of sleep starting around 6:30. Good thing; My mom stayed with me and we got to watch Supernatural together which didn't happen for a long time.
So this was not necessarily a "something new" that I had in mind, but it happened, so I thought I'd share.
Oh my gosh... I got so scared while reading this! Do the doctors really have no idea what it was or what caused it? I mean, I get a lot of chest pains and heart palpitations and I know that's due to stress, but what you had sounds much more painful. Going to the hospital scares me. I hope you're feeling better.
